Happy to Help!

Here's a bunch of links to software, websites and other things that I think are really useful and/or cool.

I don't own any of these, but the internet was designed to be a community of shared knowledge.

So don't gatekeep software, websites and other online tools.

USEFUL SOFTWARE

AUDACITY Free & open source audio recorder and editor
BLENDER Free & open source 3D modelling/animating software
COAGULA Free image-to-audio converter. Good for spectrograms
DAVINCI RESOLVE Video editing software with a free version. Haven't used it, but heard it's good
FL STUDIO Music creator with a free version, although you can't save projects with the free one
KRITA Free & open source art program, good for digital drawing and image editing
OBS STUDIO Free & open source video recording software
UBLOCK ORIGIN Free ad-blocker. Works a treat even for the most persistent of sites. Works on multiple browsers
VISUAL STUDIO CODE Free & open source media player code editor. Does use A.I. apparently to make code changes and run commands autonomously. So use at your own disgression. I find it helpful for learning because it can auto-fill certain variables that I don't know about.
VLC MEDIA PLAYER Free & open source media player. Works with basically everything - best software for watching DVDs, I've found

ARCHIVES

ARCHIVE.ORG THE Internet Archive, the greatest thing on the internet
BIOMEDIA PROJECT Archive of everything LEGO Bionicle
FLASHPOINT ARCHIVE Archive of tons of Macromedia/Adobe Flash projects, including games, websites and animations
THE MOD ARCHIVE Collection of music modules. I don't nearly use it enough, it's very cool

WEBSITES

BETTERSAM Software Automatic Mouth - a cool TTS. Used in Ultrakill I believe? Not that I've played it
CANVA Good for poster and document design
CMDS.MEDIA Collection of free web tools, including DECTalk
INFINITE MAC Able to emulate various old Mac OS in your browser. Also has access to PlainTalk (or MacinTalk) on some versions
RAPIDTABLES Calculators and base converters. Also has an ASCII table to look at, very helpful
STACK OVERFLOW Forum for developers, good place to look if you're stuck with code (quite literally the only way this website exists)
W3SCHOOLS Free explanations/lessons on coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python and more
WHITEBOARD FOX Online whiteboard to draw/brainstorm collaboratively with friends or a team
